Yes, you must register in person. If you are unable to attend, email us your name, phone number and which class you would like, and your name will be placed on a waitlist. Our email address is [email protected]. When in-person registration is completed, any remaining available spots are filled from the waitlists by lottery. You will be contacted after in-person registration if you get into the class that you waitlisted for. You will NOT be contacted if you did not get into the class that you waitlisted for.
No, our policy is that registration must be in person.
On registration day, you can sign up for a maximum of TWO classes. You may only sign up for one of the following high demand classes: Yoga; Pilates; and Stretch, Strength & Balance Level 2.
No, once the in-person registration has been completed, no late registrations are permitted.
Classes cost $30.00 for 10 weekly classes. You must register and pay $30.00 by CASH for the ten classes on registration day. If you get into a class that you have waitlisted for, you will need to come to the Dundas Lions Memorial Community Centre at a later date and pay in cash then. You will be advised of the date and time when you are contacted to let you know that you have gotten into the additional class.

Currently, we offer classes three times per year – Fall, Winter and Spring. No classes are offered during the Summer months.

Classes are held at the Dundas Lions Memorial Community Centre, mainly in the gymnasium or the Community Room.
We provide the majority of equipment. You are responsible for bringing your own mat to Yoga, Pilates, and Stretch, Strength and Balance Level 2. If you sign up for Ukulele, you’ll need to bring a ukelele and, if possible, a music stand.
If you find that you can’t do something in a class, listen to your body and speak with the instructor. Our teachers will help you modify class activities so that you are comfortable.
No, in the event that the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board closes public schools due to inclement weather, our classes on that day will also be cancelled. In the rare event that a class is cancelled by an Instructor at the last minute, we will be unable to contact you.

No. The Dundas 55+ Group is a separate organization. Our programs are organized and managed by volunteers.
